Summary: good
Review: The title implies that this should be read after an emergency; this is misleading. This should be read by anyone with a child age 6-12 or so. Dr Spock ends at about age 5; I couldn't find one similar book for kids age 6 and up, so I bought 4 of them during my recent trip to the US. This is the best of the five. By far. Practical, short essays; not just a bunch of mushy-mushy stuff that parents only half believe, and would be lost on many kids. This is good stuff.
