Summary: Secrets to being in a happy family
Review: I've always had an intuitive awareness of how to love and support my daughter in ways that would allow her to grow and blossom into a confident, loving person. Yet when I read this book, I found even deeper insights into the "whys and hows" of parenting -- and being a husband.

I don't usually buy books of this sort, but this one was a treat. It read quickly and easily, but I think it's apparent simplicity was deceptive. On reflection, I found the insights into parent/child relationships, and spouse to spouse interaction to go deep... really deep. (For example, this guy's approach to a child's time out surprised the heck out of me -- and then I said, "of course, that's the way it would work best.")

I liked this book. It kept me interested and it inspired me.
