Review: Miller Newton has been convicted in civil court of abuse & false imprisonment. He got his "training" in a notorious drug rehab that had its roots in a cult called the Seed. The seed was accused of the senate of the united states of using Korean brainwashing techniques.miller Newton ran his own cult based on these techniques called "Kids" that has caused numerous heartbreaks and shattered families.

Review: Miller Newton is a cult learder!! He ran one of the most inhumane drug rehabs ever. He held people against their will and "treated" kids with no "problems" at all. He has destoyed many families to the point that perents have not seen their own children in 10 or more years. I could not imagian any good coming from such a wicked, twisted, egocentric, beast. Review: Please make sure that you read all the reviews before you waste your money on this or any other book that Miller Newton wrote. Please ask first what the State of New Jersey and Bergen, Hudson Counties think of him. It is available in court papers on-line. Note that the only TWO good reviews are from #1-A former oldcomer or in other words a peer member of this cult that was allowed by Newton to treat children in a most inhumane and cruel way, and #2-A "professor" that will not give his or her name. Does this tell you anything?

Review: Professionals, professors, and parents, I urge you to do several things before reading this book: First, utilize the multitude of resources and the abundance of alternate books on this subject by highly respected professionals and experts, and cease recommendation of this book to students and parents immediately. Examine the mounting sources, on-line, in the media, in affidavits, criminal charges, prosecutions, lawsuits and settlements related to Kids of Bergen County, Kids of North Jersey, and Straight of Florida, where Newton gained his "professional experience" and practiced his "treatment model." Seek other materials outlining the severely detrimental effects suffered by Newton's "clients", and explore the countless details which Miller Newton has omitted from his books relating to his "treatment programs" including: child abuse, extreme violent assaults, depravation of education, sleep, lavatory use, forcing children to listen to sexually explicit stories in graphic detail, kidnapping, imprisonment, falsifying documents, insurance fraud, malpractice including a lack of professionals present at initial intakes and at therapeutic sessions, refusal of necessary medical treatment, and more...

Review: This so called "PhD." author has been convicted in a civil court of false imprisonment and abuse of adolescents. Read if you must, but be forewarned about this author and his shaky credentials. There is a lot available online about this defrocked priest and his controversial counselling techniques (CULT). Research before you read!!... ...on the other hand, buying this book may help the author payoff some of the millions of dollars he owes in lawsuits from former clients...
