Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great for New Parents
Review: this book was one of the most informatively entertaining books I have read on family. It is full of short "observations" on family life that made me laugh out loud on the train to work and I actually had to share some of the stuff that made me laugh with other people on the train.
my favorite is" A fruedean slip is when you say one thing but mean your mother"

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Have You Had Your Belly Laugh, Today
Review: When I first saw this book at the UCLA 9th Annual Book Festival, I thought, "What a great tool for opening speechs."

We all need to laugh, everyday. And it's important that our laughter comes from our belly, as opposed to a higher level.

We need to express the joy that comes from deep within; and, to allow it to plant goodwill throughout the world.

Here are a few of the jokes from this book:

Ray Barone: Alright Ally, you have to do what mommy says.

Ally Barone: Why?

Ray Barone: 'Cause I do.'
-Ray Ramano, "Everybody Loves Ramond"

---

"Parents should conduct their arguments in quiet, respectful tones, but in a foreign language. You'd be surprised what an inducement that is to the ducation of children." -Judith Martin, also known as "Miss Manners"

--

"I remember adolescence, the years of aving the impulse control of a mouse trap, fo being as private as a safe deposit box."
- Anna Quindlen, ovelist, Social Critic, Columnist

---

Since humor cleans out toxins from your soul, why not make a commitment to have a belly laugh with someone today?
