Three very important ideas are conveyed in this book and, if nothing else, be aware of the following: 1. Spending time and talking with your child helps him /her emotionally and socially, thus improving his/her chances of being successful in school. 2.The activities that involve reading and math are critical to your child's success in school and in life. 3.T.V., the Internet, and computer games, if monitored closely by parents can be beneficial to your child. However, these activities must be limited and done with the utmost discretion. The activities do not require money or teacher training.
