Summary: Wonderful support for the tireless caregiver.
Review: This book is a wonderful publication designed to provide a breath of fresh air for care givers everywhere. The caregiver is often overshadowed by the the recipient of the care.
The caregiver provides physical and emotional support and often needs support themselves.

This book provides thoughtful respite and support interlaced with humor. I can't say enough kind words. If you provide care for a homebound relative this is a MUST READ!

Summary: The bible of caregiving
Review: This book provides information essential to caregiving. The author makes the medical world understandable for the caregivers, which makes this book easy reading. The reflective poems were thought provoking and truthful. As a health care professional I have recommended this book to caregivers to provide them with the knowledge they need to understand how to care for their family member or friend. I found the caregiver assessment tool helpful in determining the needs and the focus of the caregivers' goals.
