Deborah Martin has creatively written an interesting story that clearly outlines the foundation to build loving successful relationships with the youngest generation. The engaging story line holds the reader's interest and offers practical, real life examples of the issues facing adult/child relationships. The skills and techniques are presented in a model form that invokes a mental picture to accompany the emotional impact of the story and it's characters. The settings and tools for coaching are easily understood. Practice can start immediately. As a teacher, parent, and coach I highly recommend "spending" an hour with "Stars in Life". She is able to give us a straightforward method for engaging in coaching conversations. Don't be turned-off by the focus on children. The story-line and process outlined can be truly powerful for adults.
