Review: I have had the opportunity, over the last two years, to use Sandy's training manual to facilitate groups for women who have lived with violence, either as children or in an intimate relationship. These women have been told that the aggressive rage directed towards then is anger, so they are often very afraid that if they express anger it will look and sound like what they lived with. The information in the training manual encourgages women to explore the real feeling of anger, and practise assertive skills that allow them to express their needs and wants.
