Summary: Helpful advice
Review: I have a teenager and this book is good! Dr. Williamson tells how to avoid an argument by not falling for the teen's sidetracking counterargument. Teens already have their policies in place - they want to go out with friends even if it's a concert on a school night 130 miles away. They want to take risks and try to get away with what they can. Parents don't have built in policies, so we have to formulate some to keep our teens safe and sound. This book is optimistic, and I think that's how parents will be too after reading it.
