She takes common tunes that children and adults have grown to know and love and designs creative jingles that help make learning to read fun! Research has proven that children need to speak, hear, sing, and say the printed word in order for it to be a learned skill-Marcia Ardis has provided that in this "catchy" title. All the "goods" are there within her book-have fun!

Review: These songs & poems hold young children's interests & are great for home practice. I can teach a decoding skill at school and the children take it home and practice while reading / singing to their parents. This is NOT homework to them!
