Rating: Summary: We all need more of this! Review: It is refreshing to discover a book that not only focuses on the importance of making church going a priority, but also emphasizes the importance of instilling spiritual values into the fabric of everyday life, and doing it in such a way that the family actually enjoys being together. In Faith, Fun, and Family, Richie Hilbert draws from personal experience to relate how fulfilling, enjoyable and easy it can be for young parents to make sure they incorporate the joy of a personal relationship with Christ into the ordinary comings and goings of daily life. From posting scripture memory verses on the bathroom mirror, to making people sandwiches at bedtime, Richie and her husband, Lee, have used creativity and love to bring the message of the Bible into their home in tangible and unforgettable ways. Her anecdotes are complemented by appropriate scripture verses, making the timeless Biblical message valid and meaningful for our modern day, current situations. This book enriched my experience as a parent and member of a family. I loved it, and have used many of the ideas contained within.
