Review: Domestic Violence was so interesting and accurate that once I started reading it I couldn't put the book down until I was done. Having been there myself, I know first hand how hard it is to get out, but the main thing to remember is that once the abuse starts it won't stop. You need to realize that you don't have to live like that, so get out as soon as you can. Also, to acknowledge the abuser in any way after leaving gives them a chance to be in control again. You can do it and you are worth it. It's one of the best books I've read in a long time.

It was also right on the money pointing out that the most dangerous people are usually the one who at first appear normal and very charming.
