Review: It's been a few years since I last read this wonderful book, but I still remember it as one which was very helpful to me after my overseas adoption of a handicapped child. At a time when many families would send the child back because of so many hard to handle disabilities, this family stuck it out and found the ultimate treasure. If your child struggles with developmental, physical, or eating disorders, this is a good book to read to help you realize there is hope in investing continuous love and hard work in your child. If you've adopted and been surprised by what you didn't realize you were getting, this book is a must have. Be prepared to cry and laugh.
