Sex and the Christian Teen

Summary: Great for Catholic Teens
Review: As a Catholic Youth Minister, I find this book to be an excellent presentation of our moral beliefs, including the sensitive way in which it handles homosexuality as an orientation and not a choice (see catechism 2358). It is an easy read for teens who are very interested in the topic. This is not a "how to" book -- it is a "when to" book that would supplement good religious education in this area.

Summary: I never let my daughter read the book
Review: I read the book to see if it was o.k. for my daughter to read. He has a chapter on homosexuality in which he states that homosexuality is a result of DNA and is not a choice but is discovered. This goes against my spiritual beliefs therefore I threw the book away.
