Summary: Grandmother of another invincible Spirit
Review: I started to read the book and was in tears for the 1st couple of chapters. I am the proud grandmother of a Special little boy with Downs called Daniel. He is a gift and the whole family are humbled at being chosen to share his life.

After reading the book for a while I suddenly had one of those ahah moments when I realised I had seen this family so often on my drips between Durban and Johannesburg. I often see a lovely Downs boy and his mother with the missing lower part of her arm - I peep out of the corner of my eye and marvel at how the young boy makes sure that the bags are collected and put on the trolley at the airport.

I hope I can pluck up the courage next time I bump into them and say hello - I know that we always prefer when people come over and chat to us rather than just give us odd looks.

We are very proud of Daniel and will encourage him to do all he wants to do in life. He is only 18 months but is doing so well and we marvel at his every achievement.

Thanks for your Book Mrs Wickens and thanks for sharing your private moments and thoughts - They really do help it all make sense
