Rating: Summary: Here is the modern woman's guide to pregnancy. Review: A unique feature of this conveniently sized guide is that it functions as a workbook and diary, with places for the reader to record questions/concerns to share with her healthcare provider as well as her own thoughts and feelings. There is even a place for photos and other keepsakes to record "Precious Memories". In addition to covering usual and the unusual questions women have about their pregnancies, I provide numerous tips on health, diet and beauty. Remember that saying "you can't tell a book by its cover", well in this case you can. The cover supports the creativity and mysticism of women. It is an abstract art piece which contains shades of turquoise blues-it is an effective and interesting lamaze focal point image. The fact that the book is not only beneficial for the pregnant woman gives it special appeal. It is a guide for the entire family. Easy for children, expectant fathers, friends and relatives to understand-helps them to suppport and share in the pregnancy. Best wishes for a happy and healthy pregnancy and the years that follow! Rating: Summary: As a "small pearl develops..." Review: Each section of the book is unique and beautiful in its own way. My growth and development section has been tauted as the best ever. Here is a peak.... "Baby's Month To Month Development. First Month; By the end of the first month, your baby doesn't look much like a baby yet, and is the size of a small pearl. But, in the weeks that follow, the brain, spinal cord, heart, digestive tract, sensory organs, arms and leg buds will begin to develop." Don't you just love it? A "pearl", that is pure, and incandescent, requiring the love and nurturing of all those that surround it. That is important to remember, each "small pearl" will grow up to be a wonderful human being if given the "richest" nutrients and just the right amount of nurturing. These nutrients, are dispersed throughout my book. The nurturing comes from within you, an attribute we all share when we are healthy and happy. Shining brilliantly, Paula Baran
