Rating: Summary: MidWest Book Review Review: This was a very enlighting, interesting read. As a Counselor I was anxious to see what this book was all about and it was worth my time to read it. The author works with children who display atypical behaviors due to neurological dysfunction and she has developed what she called "The Matrix Model" method in dealing with these children, that certainly seems to be producing results. The four elements of this model are: Attachment Disorder, Dyslexia, Multiple Intelligences and The Felenkrais Method. I will not even try to explain these to you as I could never do them justice, but I will tell you that the author gives case after care of their use and shows the wonderful progress with children that they bring. As a lover of children my heart went out to these young ones as I read of their trauma, but I rejoiced also at the help that Dorothy Halla-Poe and her wonderful work is doing for them. If you have b children with these problems, know someone who does, or if you are just interested in help for children, this book is for you. My prayer is that many, many children will be helped with this strategy and can have a better quality of life.
