Review: I love this book! It's beautifully written and illustrated. Makes me cry everytime I read it. Naturally, like all moms, I tell my son "I love you" every day. But when I read him this book I feel like I am saying "I love you" much more beautifully and poetically. So nice! I predict it will become a classic book and it belongs on everyones' shelves.

It is in the category of "I Love you Forever". Those who love that book will treasure Yates' book. But, no doubt, like the other reviewer that hated this book, if you hated "Love you Forever", you will hate this one too.

Summary: Don't Feel Insufficient Enough Yet?
Review: In what was likely well intentioned, the end product is another lecture to women who try to work, run a household, and mother their children that they are simply not doing it well enough. That they are leaving their children behind. This reads like something to be eternally forwarded on the internet by mother-in-laws. I was hoping for a book for my child, which would help him understand why Moms are busy. Instead it's a book for the mom, grieving time lost with her child while busying herself with other stuff. Maybe it will serve as a reminder to those mothers who fail to tell their children every day that they love them (are they really out there - and buying children's books?) that they need to do so. But it was for me, and for those I shared it with, simply an illustrated reading about being an insufficient and distracted mother who is still not getting it right. (For the record, I can't stand the neurotic "Love You Forever" book either, which others adore. So maybe I'm just really missing something here.)

Summary: The Most Wonderful Book Written For Mothers and children
Review: This book is a must read for every woman that tries to balance the demands of motherhood as she faces her hungry family, children with a mountain of homework, dirty clothes that missed the hamper, and cupcakes that need to baked for boy scouts. It serves as a tool to validate what is really important and to help us realize how we as Mothers regain our strength to face the next day that offers the same endless list of tasks. This is a wonderful book to enjoy with your children which reinforces that they are your most important treasure.

The illustrations in the book are beautiful!!! The beautiful colors, and the pictures seem to flow so well with the message. This would be a wonderful gift to anyone that has experienced motherhod, I plan to purchase several copies for Christmas gifts. 5+ stars to the author and the illustrator.

Review: Wow! What an awesome book! I could barely read it aloud without crying. I think that every mother should get this book and read it to her children. It is a book that all mothers can relate to. Sometimes we get too busy to tell our children that we love them. This book is a good reminder. It is a great book to have a child read to you.
