Summary: An Informative look into Child Abuse.
Review: I am married to a peadiatric nurse who is studing Child Protection isues. Having looked though the first edition of this book, I belive this would be of enormous benifit to anyone who works with children. It takes you though all kinds of situations, how the case was discovered, the statistics of that form of abuse and why that child was abused. It also dicusses the groups that are most at risk. Although this book is based on British infomation, it would be most helpful to any health care professional.
