Rating: Summary: Quick Read - Offers some valuable information Review: Although this book does not specifically apply to me since I only have one child who is already 3 1/2, I thoroughly enjoyed it and read it in one sitting. It is a fun read and full of practical advice and laugh-out-loud stories about the author's own experiences. I will be giving this book to all of my friends who plan on having their children close together.

Rating: Summary: mom's review Review: I found the book sincere, realistic, and thoughtful. As a mother, we try to second guess ourselves all the time, it's nice to know that other mothers feel that struggle too. We want everything to be perfect, and that is not realistic. The author's heart, like other mothers, is in the right place, and she has some great advice written thoughtfully to share with us.

Rating: Summary: Everything a mom needs to know! Review: I was given this book shortly after having my second child, 20 months after my first child. I found it very helpful in making decisions about what kind of stroller to buy, how to juggle beds and how to manage my time between 2 small children. In the past 9 months I have returned to the book numerous times to look for ideas on how to approach whatever current situation we were experiencing. As a mom I found this book very influential in my decision making. On another note, I am a pediatric nurse practitioner and spend a lot of time educating parents. I'm amazed at the number of families that have children spaced very close together. I've recommended this book to many parents and have received positive feedback on its helpfulness. Often we have no where to turn on everyday practical situations of raising our closely spaced children. I found this book to be of great help because it has told me what other women in my situation have found useful. I like not having to rediscover the wheel on my own. Thank you for this book!
Rating: Summary: Quick Read - Offers some valuable information Review: My daughter will be 22 months when #2 comes along. I am pretty anxious about the closeness in age, so I really wanted to start early and try and be as informed as I could about my situation. I read the whole book right when I got it. It had some good points and gave some real life situations, but I thought everything was touched on briefly and left some questions unanswered. I would still recommend it, because it did bring up situations I did not even consider. I gave it the 3 stars because I think it is a little on the ... side. There was 112 pages of rather large print and a price tag of .... You can read this book in an hour. The good thing is that I think I can actually get my husband, who hates to read, to read this one, because it is so brief. I too have become a "Twice Blessed" fan. It is much more informative.
Rating: Summary: Quick read and interesting Review: My wife received this book as a gift, but I was intrigued after observing on her nightstand. I can appreciate the author's experiences as our children are similar ages. The stories were priceless and guidance strong ... undoubtably, a quick and easy read. I would recommend this to a friend.
Rating: Summary: I've Finally Found Someone Like Me! Review: This book felt like the author was writing out of my brain. I had been looking for the some sort of information about having two children so close in age. I had not been able to find anything out there, except for this book. I read the entire book in less than 3 hours, and I'm not an avid reader! This book is written exactly how I feel about having two children so close in age. It focuses on the pregnancy, things to buy, emotions, physical, and all other aspects of having children close in age. If I could meet the author myself, I would say "thank you" for writing this book just for me! It has made me feel so much more confident that I am having two children 15 months apart. I am able to have this second child now, with confidence that I can do it! I have never felt so good after reading any book. The author does a wonderful job, and hits home exactly like every pregnant second-time mother probably feels, especially those that are having two children so close in age. I give my thanks to this author for knowing exactly how I feel. I can't express that enough! Thanks! Enjoy!
