Review: This book has a lot of parenting tips that are very useful and relevant in the millennium. The authors rightly say that children have the upper hand nowadays, especially when both parents have to work and thus have no time to discipline the children. The authors espouse a democratic parenting style, where both the parents and the children treat each other with mutual respect and dignity. I am a middle school guidance counselor and I talk to both the parents and students. This book serves as a great teaching reference for parenting skills and as an invaluable resource for me as a mother of a spunky three year old boy. A great book!
