Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Examines without bias
Review: Finally a book that cuts through the bias surrounding discussions about childcare to give parents the straight facts. Too often the debate about appropriate care gets mired in discussion about morals and family values but the need for childcare --whatever our personal opinions are-- isn't going away; parents deserve the information in this book. For those actively searching for quality substitute care, the second-half of the book contains valuable insight into what a good care situation looks like based on the research uncovered in the first half of the book. I strongly recommend this book to any parent considering using non-parental care or anyone interested in child advocacy issues.
