Rating: Summary: Mr. Philips is the funniest guy in the world! Review: As the mother of two kids ages 8 and four, I can see firsthand how violence affects kids. My son watched a few episodes of Power Rangers when he was 4, and he would be so wound up after watching that show! He and his friends would kick at each other, and hit, etc. The situation got so bad with Power Rangers (at the height of their popularity back in 1994-5), that my son's school banned ANYTHING having to do with Power Rangers from the school premises. Kids would be literally attacking each other in their fervor to imitate the characters on the show. Within a week of the school banning Power Rangers merchandise, the kids were markedly calmer at recess and in the classroom! Coincidence? I think not! After noting my son's behavior after watching the show, and after reading Mr. Phillips insightful book, I too banned Power Rangers from our house and things got immediately calmer. You can choose not to believe (e.g. "stick your head in the sand") what Mr. Phillips has to say, but I think the proof is in the kids' behavior, not in your opinions.
Rating: Summary: The only reson I gave it 1 star is ,,,, Review: becasue it didnt have a "no star" option...I have watched this show since the very beginning and the only thing this guy is talking about is how bad a show it is...well, considering that the majority of people who watch it are atleast 13 then the violence and "action" is what they want to see any way...and the only reason this guy wrote this book is because he feels that...for reasons beyond my understanding...he feels he has the right to say whatever he wants about things he dont even know about...quite frankly...this book is not even worth a dollar and the only thing i would use it for is fuel for a fire.
Rating: Summary: This guy is nuts! Review: Sorry to say, but I don't agree with this guy at all. He doesn't even know a thing about "Power Rangers" It has changed so many times, and he's so wrong. The original Power Rangers were the ones that started the DARE program. It is not cheap also, and there is no sexual context in it, out of 9 years that Power Rangers have been on, I've only seen 4 short kissing scences. And to those parents that have 4 year olds, the show is rate TVY7 so pay a bit more attention, thanks, Steven

Rating: Summary: What I think of the book: Review: The Book basically contents the reasons why not to watch the Power Rangers, have good redaction, and elocuent arguments, but, acording with my opinion, it's just another book against a sucessfull serie by attacking it with religion. Acording to the arguments used against PR, all the series of TV are wrong. Instead of be named "The Truth Abot Power Rangers" should be called, "The Truth About the actual TV Shows for children". The book no only attack the TV shows, but the Martial Arts practice. In my opinion, the Power Rangers give a good mesage to the children, by studing, don't quit the school, and make their best in everything they do, and showing comun troubles among the youth, and how they shouldn't feel guilty about things that aren't their fault, like the parents divoce.
Rating: Summary: Some ppl have no life.... Review: This man obviously has issues...
