Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent insight on This Topic
Review: I found this book to be extremely knowledgeable and written from the heart. For those who need this type of guidance, the advice given is written with a personal touch and is truthful and precise.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Shared experiences lend a personal perspective
Review: The writer's personal approach makes this an easy and insightful read. Rather than another book full of only "expert" opinions, she has gathered stories from her own family, as well as others, showing how parents and other adults can help children cope with loss. I wish I had had this book last year--it would have helped me understand my teenager's reaction to his grandmother's death. This is one I'll keep on my bookshelf and plan to send a copy to my sister as well.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: More Than a Guide.
Review: This book can serve as a practical guide for helping children through very difficult situations. However, after reading this book you realize it is much more than that. It is the way the author recounts her own experiences, as well as the personal experiences of others, that make for compelling reading.
