Rating: 5 stars
Summary: User friendly and valuable information
Review: When I was pregnant with my first child I read a lot of magazine articles about babies, how to take care of them, their behavior, how they grow, etc. Once I gave birth I felt the need for a reference book with this kind of information. I found this book very helpful in that sense. The presentation in growing stages helps a lot because you read the chapters as your baby grows and the information applied to that age. It also reviews theories (and the pros and cons) of general worries as thumb sucking vs. pacifier, breast feeding vs. formula, etc. Over all I think it as a good reference book and if you have more babies as a refreshener of that information. As an extra, I use also books like "Baby Play" and "Toddler Play" by W.S. Massy and R. Cohen Leiderman that make many references to books by Penelope Leach.
