Summary: For heterosexuals in the very early stages of infertility
Review: ...it didn't really strike any deep chords with me. There isn't much emphasis on the spiritual aspects of infertility (e.g.: "Why does God let this happen?"), so if you're not interested in spiritual things, you'll love this. If you *are* a religious/spiritual person, you'll probably be left wanting. Overall, this is a worthwhile read, and it does offer some encouragement.

Summary: Read out loud to each other and discuss....
Review: One of the "benefits" to infertility is that you really get to work on your marriage and become much closer than couples that have babies easily. One of the things that we have started doing each night right before we go to bed is to read one page from this book out loud--kind of like a little joint prayer/meditation. I never thought my husband would go for something as "touchy-feely" as this, but he has really come to like it. The amazing thing is that each night I pick a page at random--and without fail it is always on a topic that we were struggling with that day!

Summary: How many meditations are there for the infertile?
Review: There are only three I know of! This is the first I saw, and then I wrote one. See my website where this is also linked, www.fertilityfair.com to learn more.

Fertile Prayers:Dailly Fertile Prayers

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: For heterosexuals in the very early stages of infertility
Review: This book would be appropriate for heterosexual couples who are still trying to conceive and have not yet seen a doctor about it. Its an extremely simple book and not for the seriously infertile. THe book also never addresses the possibility that a woman may be trying to conceive a child without a man in her life or with another woman. A good book if your sad that you didnt get a positive on a home pregnancy test after your first cycle of trying.
