Rating: Summary: The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens Review: This is a "must read" book for all teens. It has many benefits for teen readers. I think it should be required reading for teen-age students. It will keep their interest and it has helps them understand exactly who is responsible for their behavior and their life. If you have any teens in your life, buy this book! It will be one of the best investments in their life you will ever make.
Rating: Summary: Not one I would recommend Review: This book is filled with useless information that most teenagers already ready know (ie. 'do the most important stuff first'!). If you are an unorganized teenager, this is not the answer. Might I recommend the sister book of this drivel, "7 Habits of Highly Effective People"? Even though this book is written for adults, we teenagers can get much more out of it than "7 Habits...Teenagers" has to offer. But, if you are an absolute slob when it comes to works-in-progress, this book may just be the thing for you -- but you will quickly grow out of it!
Rating: Summary: Worth to read. Not only for teens, but also adults ..... Review: Unlike the books for adults which spend thousands of words to explain the 7 habits. This book talked about 7 habits with interesting cartoons and examples. This makes me get the concept easily. Also, Sean use simple English which makes me read this book without pain. I like it very much.
Rating: Summary: 7 habits of highly effective teens Review: This book is extreemly helpful in many aspects of teen life, but can be applied to many other age groups. The author keeps you entertained with quotes, stories, cartoons and sayings. He uses many examples from personal experence and interviews of teens. I recomend this to all teenagers, and anyone who wants to improve in some way or another.
Rating: Summary: A must read for every teen Review: This book should be required reading for every teenager in America, with large parts committed to memory, and the precepts incorporated into their lives. Wish a book like this had been around back in the 60's-early 70's. Probably could have prevented a lot of the emotional scars from the teen years that are still with me today at forty something. This is an outstanding book and well worth reading and rereading.
Rating: Summary: Teen Angst ? Review: At the ripe age of 23, I borrowed my 18 year old brother's copy of this book and was enthralled.I cant help but wonder what a difference this book would have made in my life if I had read it at age 14 and not ten years later. The layout of the book is fun and appeals to readers of any age. This makes it easier to read. One thing I have to say, is that this book is one of the most powerful positive thinking books on the market. Although it's aimed at teens, the values and tips can apply to anyone. I loved the little excercises which are still applicable. Sean's frankness on matters really inspired me. My favourite part of the book though is the real life stories he relates on how teenagers have overcome difficulties and still succeed in the end. A great read, highly recommended !
Rating: Summary: Required reading for all teens Review: I usually am wary of all the preachy self-help books that are churned out year after year, but I must say this book changed my view like no other.Sean must be congratulated for a wonderful book that provides much needed advice in a friendly way to all teens. No teen can afford to miss this one.The style is conversational, friendly, non-preachy and definitely hits home. This book should be made required reading in all schools. Thanks Sean, and keep up the good work.
Rating: Summary: 7habits of highly effective teens Review: the book was very good at explaining everything you should do. it was everything i expected it to be.
Rating: Summary: A Teenage Break Through Review: A good book for teens. It teaches them to learn the meaning and how to apperciate lifes beautiful things. It shows them how do act to bad and good situations! I think it is a good book that you dont see a lot of and think all teens should read the book either in school or in there very own homes.
