Rating: Summary: A "Gift" of Enlightenment and Fond Memories Review: This book caused me to pause and think about my life as a grandchild, child and parent and what I have learned and shared along the way with my grandparents, parents and children. The author, Mr. Clayton, presented the material in a very straight forward manner with references to people in his life and how these people have impacted his direction in life, and what he shared with his children and other adults. I was impressed and totally agree with Mr. Clayton's selection of the "Gifts" to share and to instill within the family. I must thank Mr. Clayton for taking the time to sit down and write this book. It is simple and practical advice "to Appreciate" for anyone who falls into the category of being a "child" no matter what your age is! During and after each chapter, I had to reminisce about similar or unique events in my own life as well as the emotions that I experienced with these events. I am sure that all readers will experience the same thing. Thus, I advise you to have some tissue and/or a partner handy to discuss the "10 Gifts." As I read the book, I thought of several colleagues who would enjoy the book. I have now loaned the book out to them and I look forward to our follow-on discussions.
