Summary: I agree with the title
Review: I liked this book a lot. The selection of names won't overwhelm you (insane spelling variations are kept to a minimum), and the summaries behind each entry are entertaining. It's one of those baby name books you actually read, as opposed to going cross-eyed, as a result of looking at list after list.Even the graphics are cute. Gotta love that bear and bunny. ^_^

The history and meaning of each name Sure it has all of that but not in chapters like I assumed! If the name happens to belong to a celebrity than it mentions it and so on. Also this has so many names in it that I couldnt see anyone actually naming their child- how about a precious little girl named "Welcome" or "Wapeka". Sorry if any of you have named your children that and I have offended you, I just dont think most people are looking for these names when choosing a baby book Its simple, this book is in alphabetical order for girls and boys. If you enjoy reading until your eyes are blind by all means buy it.
