Rating: Summary: my favorite book Review: This is my favorite book. It is not one that I have read over and over, but a beautiful little book that I look at and think of fondly, and simply feel like a child. What other book is written with such innocence and sweetness? It made me feel like the world was such a beautiful and precious place. (Also, it is ten times better in its original French version)
Rating: Summary: Excellent book Review: The Little Prince was truly a good book. Though simple and a bit short, it has a good meaning and the meaning of this book is a literary masterpiece!
Rating: Summary: A diamond Review: I read this book as a high-school sophomore. I believe that there is no other book so perfectly suited for both children and adults alike. It does not condescend to either group. It makes its point clear in a subtle, unpreaching manner. But it takes a lot of meditation to explore the directions into which Saint-Exupéry takes his message: you think not only about his main point but also about his theories and implications. As The New York Times Book Review said, "a lovely story...not the sort of fable that can be tacked down neatly at its four corners but rather reflections on what are real matters of consequence." The watercolors add life to the text. There are scientific inaccuracies, but only the obnoxious know-it-all would care. Overall, a heartwarming novel that I recommend to anyone.
Rating: Summary: The most beautiful book I have ever read. Review: The Little Prince is one of the best books I have ever read. It is truely a beautiful book, more precious or brilliant than any diamond. It is a book that will become a cherished treasure. It literally will change your life, and change your persetion of the world. I was struck while reading the reviews of The Little Prince, as to how universally love it is. It seems to touch on the very essense of life, and love. Happiness, and contentment can be found in the simplest things in life, and in the end that is all that really matters.
Rating: Summary: Read this book, then read it again Review: A truly magical story--Not only is this a wonderful story to read to your children at night, it is a remarkable story that brings each one of us back to the imaginative days of childhood, where things are new in our eyes and worthy of appreciation. I suggest leaving this book on your own nightstand, as well as your children's, to remind yourself of what the world looks like through the eyes of a child. The story will bring you to tears and cause reflection within your own life, as well as make you smile at the innocence and happiness of the little prince. (Read it in the original language too, if possible)

Rating: Summary: The little prince reminds me to think about life. Review: The little prince reminds me to think about the true meaning of life. When someone ask you to draw him a sheep, what will you give him? When was the last time you cherish a flower just because of its beauty? In the grownup¡¦s world, we have been deceived by preconceived ideas. The little prince calls back our pure and innocent selves. Each time I read this book, I gain something new about how to live my life. It is a book worth reading again and again.
Rating: Summary: Look to the Stars Review: Yes, look to the stars to find The Little Prince. A little man all full of questions. A little man that represents the childhood of all of us. When he dies, bitten by a snake, it is the death of childhood that we see. He, however, gets to return to his planet, he gets to relive his childhood. And those other people he meets? The king, the conceited man, and the lamp lighter, they all represent the things that make us lose our childhood.
