Summary: Book great; printing very poor
Review: The hardback copy I ordered to give to a friend as a gift is such a disappointment. Some of the pictures look as though they were copied on a machine almost out of ink--faint and/or non-existent lines. On portions of some pictures there are globs of ink with too faint lines on other parts of that same picture. QUALITY CONTROL WAS ASLEEP.

Summary: One of The Absolute Best
Review: I recommend everyone who ever has the chance to read this book to take advantage of it. For such a simple yet imaginative character/setting outlay it has one of the deepest meanings of any other book or novel I have ever read. You see the world in a completely different light when the author unfolds the Little Prince's outlooks on life. I was suprised to find what a wide range of emotions are felt in this bit of text- for it even brought me from complex thinking, to tears, to sweet satisfaction, and a deep down stiring of the soul.

Summary: Just an answer for some reviews
Review: I would like to join everyone who mentioned this book as their favorite, and I may answer some question. Those who asked a question like "When he entered Earth, how come he didn't burn in the atmosphere?" probably never heard the word "literature". I really feel sorry for them. Novels of this genre are rarely based on the laws of phisics and other nature sciences. "How could Dante meet Vergilius, who actually died ages before Dante was born?": the same stupid question never asked. We are talking about literature and philosophy. If it's too hard to understand to someone, he misses a lot of great work of world literature. Sorry about the bad English.

Summary: The best book I have ever read....
Review: I received this book as a gift for my high school graduation from a lady that I didn't really know that well. On the inside cover, she wrote that it was a book for all ages. I decided to read it and found it to be the most wonderful story I have ever read. The message it conveys is that of true friendship and love. I would definitely recommend it to people of all ages....

Summary: I love my Little Prince
Review: My 9-year old calls this book "enchanting" after having read it numerous times. Out of curiosity I read it for myself too, and it certainly left a very deep impression in me. I'm kind of lost for words right now. This book is going to be a little treasure for me (and my boy, I'm sure). Go read it!

Summary: The most creative book I've ever read
Review: The Little Prince is such a hell of a work. I really enjoyed reading it! It's a very heart-warming work and I can't help falling in love with the story. I hope that everybody could read this, I know that even the adults would like the story. A great, inspiring work. I salute the author for coming up with such a creative story like the little prince.

Summary: truly blessed book
Review: I first read this book on recommendation from a very dear friend (the way this book should be read!). I fell in love with it, and I was truly moved to tears. I recently went to a used book store to find a copy, and like a grown-up, asked if it was in the children's section. The proprietor gently reminded me that even grown-ups need to read it. How right he was.

Summary: This is the best book ever written - for any reading level
Review: I disagree with your "reading level ages 9 - 12" There is such depth in this work that it is a book for all ages and conditions and the older one gets, the more one gets out of it.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Ageless underlying philosophy, logic and perceptions.
Review: A workful art of prose and innocence, blended with acts of courage, charm, wonder and grace. An perpetuate volume in its ability to illicit thought and logical reason from readers of all ages. The very base of philosophic logic and ponderance abounds throughout the simple verbage.
