Summary: Little Prince named book of the century!
Review: The Little Prince was named the book of the century in France today, December 21, 1999. The Old Man and the Sea came in second. I must agree with the French since The Little Prince helped me find my husband 30 years ago when it was my official "interview" book. For almost 25 years, I read The Little Prince aloud to my high school students each spring. There was never a dry eye in the house when I finished. A student made me a wooden "boa constrictor swallowing the elephant from the outside" which I still proudly display in my office. Great for all ages, all philosophers. Perfect for those Harry Potter, Wind in the Willows, and Hobbit fans.

Summary: One of the greatest books of all time.
Review: This is by far one of the greatest books ever. Children can comprehend this and they can get one point of view about the little prince and they can think of it as a very good childrens book, yet adults can read this and enjoy it even more so, I, myself, extremely enjoyed the social critism as well as the underlying metaphors and over all awesome power of this book. Ranks up there with Dante and Chaucer. Strongly Recomended

Review: A huge social commentary on life, the world and the universe. Maybe not, but it is a short and elegant story about the innocence of the creative spirit. It is a tale of explanations without bounds. Think of it as ten minutes where you can recover the loss that is gradually taught away in school. It is worth making kids learn french at school if this is still part of the curriculum.

Review: Although this book is a short fiction for children, it is highly sugested that any adult read this. This book takes a look at the many factors of the perfect life. The little prince goes through many struggles that you and me do not. This is a great living example that someones life is worst than our.I suggest you read this wonderful book by a terrific author!

Summary: lessons to be learned
Review: this book was written to be a childrens book, but it is so much more then that. there are lessons every adult could learn in this book. it is a fast read, and a book you will read over and over again, and everytime finding more hidden truths within its content. i read this book over and over again, and always find a spiritul uplift about it. i could not love a book more, or get more out of a book, then this one. i can not recommend it enough.
