Summary: Charmed by a Prince from B-612
Review: This short novel has a special effect on everyone who reads it. If you just let it, it will take you in the magical World of a prince that all of his life owned only a rose, a sheep and two volcanos. I'd recommend it to anyone, The little prince is alphabet of humanity, sincerety and pure love. In small number of pages explains the whole life.

Summary: From Childhood and beyond
Review: The Little Prince is a classic. It is the epitome of a story for all ages, at all times. The Little Prince will transport you to another place, another time and new dimension. Since first reading the book over 20 years ago, it has remained a staple on my shelf. I often refer to the lessons it teaches about humanity, vulnerability and love. This book is (still) a treasure.

Summary: A Tale for All Ages.
Review: THE LITTLE PRINCE is a wonderful little book that is often classified as "children's literature". Do not let this label fool you. In our modern society we have this strange urge to label everything, to put things in their proper place. There is nothing wrong with this, but often we miss out on some amazing things because they are stamped with a label we don't like: "That's a foreign movie, isn't it?; I wouldn't like that painting because I've never heard of the artist; I don't like that type of music; Isn't that a kid's book?".

THE LITTLE PRINCE is a book that many may overlook because it is considered children's literature. Though it is true that many children love reading or listening to this book, most children will not be able to fully grasp all the elements of the tale. That can only come with the experience of life that most children are fortunate enough not to know.

At face value the book is simply the story of a pilot who has crashed in the desert and the little blond headed boy he meets there. The pilot learns that the boy is actually a prince from a tiny planet many miles away. However, the story is much more than this. Intertwined with the tale are both existential and Platonic dialogues. A Christian allegory is found as well, not to mention the social commentary on the innocence of childhood. There are many other levels that the book can be read at and there are many other issues the story discusses, but all with the eloquence and simplicity of a childlike wonder. This is a book that can be read again and again throughout life; it is a tale for all ages.

Summary: One of Life's Little Handbooks
Review: I have cherished this book for many many years. Simply a wonderful read when you need to be reminded of the lessons of inoccence, purity, and love. Perhaps not for the hardened cynic, but if you're still in touch with the child in your heart, Saint-Exupery's style and the sheer beauty of the story can't fail to touch you every time.

Summary: Wonderful and Simple
Review: This is a wonderful children's story that is enjoyed by children and adults alike. It is the story of a little being that visited the author, while he was forced to land in the Sahara alone, due to mechanical failure. He needed to repair the motor in the number of days his water supply would last. It is there that he is awakened by the voice of the Little Prince, who shares his history with him in the days that followed.

Antoine reveals to us bit by bit the story of the Little Prince, his home, his love, his travels, and what finally brings him to Earth, where he learns the greatest lesson of them all: the secret of what is really important in life.

This story brings us to a point of reflection where we ask ourselves if our daily labouring does not result in "chasing after the wind", as many of us come to realise too late. Also, it highlights the "folly" we put up with in our society, to keep it as is. Yet the Little Prince shows us aspects often forgotten and overlooked as we strive to survive in this world. Antoine treats us with a memorable story that should be read by children and adults who have forgotten the dynamics of what it is like to be a child.

Summary: The Little Prince
Review: This was an excellent book. The writing was beautiful and touching. The quotes are great and they say so much about a deeper love and things that kids know and understand with such meaning, that adults have long since forgotten.

Summary: The Little Prince
Review: Despite the fact that I have read this book about ten times, it remains as fresh and as endearing as ever. The simple fable of an unearthly prince who journeys to the Earth after traveleing to countless other planets has melancholy undertones that make the reader want to laugh at the prince's naive statements, while simultaneously weep over our lost innocence. With memorable truths such as "To lose a friend is sad; not everyone has had a friend", this book is a must for anyone who wishes to recapture their childhood, if even for a couple of hours.

Summary: The most soulful tale on the planet
Review: This book has been a guide in the main search of my life. It is a breathtaking soulful book that with genius simplicity makes you think! I must recomend it for readers of any age. Anyone would find something new, incredible and very important for them regardless of the reader's age, place in life, time in the universe and number of times read.

Summary: Captures the hearts and imaginations of all who read
Review: Richard Gere is the principle narrator in this superbly produced CD format version of Antoine de Saint-Exupery's classic children's story The Little Prince. This fifty minute production is a technically flawless audio version of a pilot stranded in the desert and wakening one morning to see before him a little fellow who captures the hearts and imaginations of all who read (and now hear) this remarkable modern fable. Haley Joel Osment gives voice to the Little Prince, while Marina Orsini, Adam Frost, Richard Allen, Dave Walsh, Ara Y. Kentenjian, Patrick Selitz, and Mickey Kessler lend their talents to this multicast production, with music by Alexandre Stankevicius. The Little Prince is highly entertaining, enthusiastically recommended, and a "must" for school and community library audiobook CD collections.

Summary: Enjoyable At Any Age
Review: This book is wonderful. I don't care if you are 4 years old or 104 years old. There is so much to be gained from this book. To a younger audience this book is an amusing fairy tale. To an older audience it deals with love and understanding. I loved this book. The writing is beautiful as well as the illustrations that go along with it. Read this book. You will not be sorry.
