Summary: Disgusting Attempt to Exploit Violence!
Review: Bob Larson has really done it this time! The man who peddled Right-Wing Fundamentalist Propaganda throughout the 80s is back with a book that astounds anyone who thought this guy couldn't sink any lower! The mere fact that he actually states that Cassie Bernall (the martyr who died because she believed in God) will burn in Hell actually induced me to VOMIT! While I'm not a christian myself, I find that purely disgusting! But this book if you're into trash. Everyone else, keep your distance.

Summary: The Unheard Side of School Shootings
Review: In this book I first found the author to be very much an expert in this field. He lived very close to Columbine and was able to take a short drive there to be one of the first persons on the scene. He didn't flash around a big TV camera trying to sell advertising time, he immediately went to the kids asking them what happened, what they knew about those involved, and why it happened. He reports on the things that he found...the things the news and media would never dare say...he found the truth. But this book isn't just about Columbine, it's a compilation of all the major and most of the other unheard of school shootings. Mr. Larson has documented in this book everything from a list of the times and places of these school shootings, to a profile of the lives of those who commited these unspeakable crimes. He then brings together all of the similarities of these incidents to find the "why's." He uses his findings to make a 'profile' of a school shooter and gives lists of warning signs that were evident in the school shootings of the past. Does it work? Are his findings sound and true? Well, the proof of the book, is in the book. While this book was being written, Mr. Larson predicted in the book the profile of the next school shooter: everything from his background and homelife, to how and why he would act. Before he could finish his book though, it happened...another school shooting. Mr. Larson's predictions were 100% correct! Do you have children, know children, or know someone who works with teens or young people? Buy this book for yourself and for them. I gave a copy of this book to the superintendent of our school district mainly because of the warning signs that are clearly outlined in it. I hate to read, but this book stuck in my hands until I finished it. I was absoloutely captivated by the findings in the book: the important things that no one else has reported on. I got the book for [$] and it was some of the best money I ever spent!

Summary: Huh? This was a great book!
Review: The reader from "anywhere but here" is lying, plain and simple. Larson does not state anything of the sort about Cassie Bernall. He DOES say many good words about her, and commends her bravery and loyalty to Jesus throughout the book. Get this book to learn about what was going on in the killer's heads that would make them do such a horrible thing.
