Summary: honestly written, and enlightening
Review: This memoir, written in alternating voices between mother and son, is revealing as a story of coming to terms with a loved one's sexuality, but more importantly it documents the perceptions of a parent and child from infancy to adulthood, and the importance of accepting people for who they are. It should be required reading for every parent, no matter if their child is homosexual or heterosexual. I highly recommend this book.
