Summary: Raising hope for the future
Review: This book is a God send. It displays an uncommon common sense about raising and rearing a family. It delves into the subjects that trouble a parents mind from how to communicate with your children to the fear of child abuse. With a well layed out format it flows from subject to subject so easily that I found myself reading the whole book in a single sitting. Yet time and time again I have also found myself refuring back to it for more advice which I have inevitably been able to find. The book even goes as far as to present you with a "report card" that your kids can fill out. It reviews how much time you spend with them, how loved they feel, and many other important issues. I was amazed at how much I learned from this simple idea. All in all, I was very glad that I took a chance on this book. The title caught my attention but it is the contents that have made such a difference in my life.
