Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Content dense; style simple. Informative.
Review: This book reads simply, but seeps its way into the heart and mind through stories of real people struggling with "fathering." While "fathering" may seem a familiar concept, it is here clearly laid as out set of responsibilities not confined to the male gender. It is about training a child toward civility, realistically and firmly. In our culture, which these days is purposefully dis-oriented by the overuse of emotion and sensationalism, this book presents a welcome formula that anyone, even a bright child, can understand and gain from. Civilized living may depend on the likes of this book.
