Summary: Incredibly Unique and Insightful!
Review: As a licensed Marriage and Family Counselor, this book will really help adults see what their behavior looks and feels like from the child's perspective and that is a GREAT achievement and will do much good to those who read it. The consciousness-raising aspect of the book is what I was the most excited about. Then, the overall style and tone of the book is really a pleasure - very readable and straight-forward, intelligent and insightful without calling attention to itself. I found it hard to put down, very engagin. For this reason alone, it is a gem and quite unique in the literature - the next time I have a client struggling with these issues, I'm going to say, "Read this book and listen to what these kids have to tell you."

Summary: From a parent --- THANK YOU!
Review: Speaking as a parent who went through a divorce with my children, this book offered me an incredibly useful look into what my kids were going through. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it for any parent who wants to open up better communication with their kids and stepkids.
