Summary: Divorce Talk - a qualitative study
Review: Catherine Riessman reports the differing experiences of men and women who have divorced. She reports that although men and women often say they divorced for similar reasons, their definitions differ. For instance, men and women mean different things when they say 'we weren't intimate enough.' Dr, Riessman presents her findings in an engaging, conversational tone. She also provides interview excerpts to illustrate her points. This is a great qualitative study, useful for both professional and lay people
