Summary: A warm, honest and comfortable book
Review: Reading this book I found my mother and myself. When we were not there I saw my friends and their mothers. I laughed most of the time and sometimes I found myself feeling plain old lucky that I did not have a mother as some others did. It was a comfortable book to read, not quite a novel but not a self-analyzing book either, it fell in-between. I enjoyed the insight and honesty of the authors and all the people they interviewed.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Important the purchaser knows who the book is written for.
Review: This book is written for daughters in their late 40's and early 50's. It deals with the need they have to reconcile with their mothers. I bought the book believing it would help me reconcile with my 30 year old daughter. I found no value in the book for that purpose. However, it's terrific for the purpose it was written.
