Rating: Summary: He isn't kidding! Review: This man really walks his talk. I had the privilege of taking a class from Dr. Pawlicki at the University of Cincinnati's Institute of Learning in Retirement. This man is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. His focus on what is important in life pervades all of his classes and lectures. When I read the book, I was pleased to see that his energy and enthusiasm for what really makes life worth living came through clearly. At the same time, his ability as an educator and psychotherapist helped keep the book as clear and compelling as a one-on-one conversation. For anyone interested in taking the time to think about life's most important value, this book is well worth the read.
Rating: Summary: A Unique Approach to Character Review: This wonderful book has the unique approach of being a combination of an inspiration and self-help book. The reader learns of the trials and tribulations, as well as the successes, of well-known people. He is encouraged to examine his own approach to life and list his strengths of character. The link between his character and famous figures in history provides a basis for evaluating his own success. Success measured by character and integrity rather than the superficial measures so often used. This book helped me evaluate my own life in a whole new way. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is taking stock of his life and wants to view it in the most productive way.
