Summary: One of the best of the books for partners of survivors
Review: The strength of this book for me was in its ability to describe all the important aspects of the experience of being the partner of a survivor of childhood sexual abuse. It did so while avoiding some of the more speculative material that is sometimes encountered in this category of books. The author is unusually qualified to understand his material, being both the partner of a survivor, and then (as he discovered later in his journey) as a survivor himself. A very powerful perspective.
