Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The Founding Power of Mother Love
Review: Doctor Rule has patiently studied the familial and social needs of his patients and others during his entire practice. Trained and then practicing Internal Medicine originally, he found there were health problems that practice could not cure. He went into Psychiatry and with the study of non-human primates sought the source of human security and fear that chimpanzees and humans had in common.
Working with Dr. Goodall and others, he found the progression from mother-love to peer-play to adult was paralleled in humans and chimpanzees. He discovered in the human the same psychological health and disease found in the primates.
It is the base from which Doctor Rule developed and published forty years ago. This "A Theory of Human Behavior" finally reached the New York Times, Science Times section, on November 25, 2003.
Do not read "UNCOVERING the SOURCES of LOVE and HATE" to mock the recent arrival of the main stream medical and journal worlds. Rather, find in it understanding and appreciation of yourself, the ones you love and those with whom you have differences.
