Summary: Tilsner has done it again!
Review: Great read for parents who are in the thick of the toddler years, or just about to enter them.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Mother who dislikes Julie tilsner
Review: I think that Julie Tilsner is incorrect. I do not believe that you should explaine sex to your child. I will not tell me son what private parts are until He is older not 2-3. My sister in law's children dont know what the names for those body parts are. Her daughter is four and she calls it a puppy. How does the words penise and vagina sound comming from a childs mouth? I dont think it sounds good at all. I never said thoes words untill I was atlease ten years old.
I dont believe that it is wright that two children that are naked in the room toghter should just be told to put there clothes back on and come downstairs to have a snack. I think you should explaine what is wrong and what is wright. How many children want to show grandma that his penise gets hard? I have never seen it and I have brothers, nephews, and boy cousins. I think that I would have seen it. Why would eight year olds have porn magizines? She should be telling the parents to hide them better children shouldnt see thoes at all. whould you explain the meaning of homosexuals to your seven year old? I sure wouldn't. They would go to school and say it and get in trouble and thay would say mommy and daddy said it then it would get turned back on the parents and then what would we do? I beleve she should keep her teaching sex to her own children and leave the sick thoughts to her self.. Thank you for your time.. Upset mother and aunt..

Summary: gives the advice parents really need
Review: This is a great book for busy parents to kick back with at the end of a long day. It's easy, light, fun reading, but packed with useful information. For example, I was thrilled to learn that two-year-olds typically get harder to understand -- not easier-- as they learn more words. (I was starting to wonder if I was the only mother who couldn't understand her child). This book was packed with advice I can use and made me feel like a great parent at the same time -- a rare feat for a parenting book!

Summary: You need it if you have a toddler
Review: With wit that doesn't hide her wisdom, Julie Tilsner gives parents permission to laugh at the hardest parts of raising a toddler. Reading her books is like commiserating with a good friend who really loves and understands kids -- AND has a terrific sense of humor.
