I don't know that I would have had her strength to make such a decision, but then I never had to. God bless you, Janie, for sharing all the details of your struggle to save Ellen, and bring yourself to a complete understanding with your God. I know this book will bless all who read it.

Review: I first heard about this book from Janie herself. She was a teacher of mine in college. She told us her amazing story and I could not wait to read the book, well I finally have. This book touched me personally because I know Janie and because so many young girls don't have mothers like Janie. I think that she has proven that it takes courage to go the distance she did to protect her daughter.

Review: I love this story, it is so inspiring. I don't know that I would have the gumption to do what she did, but I admire her courage and determination. She did what she had to to protect her daughter. The book was wonderfully written and I read it in just a few hours. I just couldn't seem to put it down. I highly recommend this book. Read it, you'll love it!!!

Review: The lengths a mother would go to for her child! As a mother of a daughter, I read this book with great interest. I have heard Ms. Webster speak and had to get the book to hear the rest of the story. She very vividly takes the reader with her young daughter across the globe in search of safety. I could not put this book down once I began and finished within hours. I could only hope that I would have the same courage faced with the same situation. There should be more mothers like this one! Michelle is a lucky girl.
