Summary: An Excellent Parent Resource
Review: As my 15 year old son and 12 year old daughter are at the age where their hormones are dictating desires and raising questions, I needed a book that was easy to read and that would give me the information I needed to work conversations into our life and to answer questions they had. This book fit the bill. Both my son and daughter read this book and often read it together - and come to me with questions as to what I think about certain things as well. Nice job Mr. Basso!

Summary: It's the Truth
Review: Everything you hear about but people don't want to talk about - it's finally talked about here. I'm glad I finally found this book. It's going away with me to college this Fall. I only wish I found it sooner. If you care about your health, your relationships and your family, this book tells you how to be smart, healthy and how to feel good about yourself.

Review: Glad someone out there finally understands what is going on with young people and is giving us the information we want! Some of my friends like the abstinence section, some us need the contraception section, but what I like best is that not only is this about sex, but it let me know that I am not alone in a #$%@@ home life and that I can make it, and how. Adults don't realize what we go through and everyone thinks EVERY young person is treated right - well their wrong. I'm glad I got this information and I'm glad I'm not alone. This is a GREAT book-two thumbs up!

Summary: Good Illustrations, Good Diversity, Medically Accurate
Review: I found this book to present medically accurate information, realistic application of this information, and very much cutting-edge on topics teens and their parents need to know about these days.
This book has more illustrations than any others I have seen and depicts Hispanic, African-American, Asian, and Caucasian youth equally throughout. Additionally, this resource is very supportive of cultural and sexual minorities which I found to be refreshing.
I highly recommend it!

Summary: Wonderful Resource For Teens
Review: I purchased this book about two years ago for my daughter, who was 14 at the time, because I knew that although she had learned the basics of sex, she still had questions that she wasn't comfortable discussing with me. After the book arrived, I read it and wished it was something I'd had when I was a teenager. It's full of facts and good practical advice that most parents will probably agree with. After I gave it to my daughter, both she and her best friend absolutely devoured it. I spotted it in her room the other day and it is now dog-eared from use and several entries in the long list of creative and humorous ways to say no to sex had been underlined or highlighted. My daughter told me that she appreciated this book not only for the information it provides about the mechanics of sex and birth control, but also the non-preachy way it covers the consequences of having sex and reasons to wait to have sex. I highly recommend this book and am glad that I purchased it for my daughter.

Summary: Every Parent Needs This!
Review: I recently read an article about how many parents simply are unaware of what kind of information teens needs when it comes to sex and this book was recommended. I purchased it and read it in 3 nights! And the article was right, now that I read all of this I am much more confident about speaking to my 14-year-old daughter about these issues. There was actually so much I didn't know, especially about what teens are going through these days. The other nice thing is that not only do my daughter and I talk about these issues now, but I gave the book to her to read. She comes to me for my opinions on what she reads and just simply loves all of the information because it is written in such an easy to read style. Excellent resource!

Summary: Every Teen Should Have This Book!
Review: I visited a cool web site that had this book recommended and bought it and it is the best book that I own. It answers all of my questions, it's honest, fair, easy to understand and lots of pictures. My friends and I look at it and use it all the time now. It helps me with my relationships too! I love this book and think every teenager should have a copy - so does my Mom.
