Rating: Summary: Full of Love and Understanding Review: I am so impressed with the care and understanding that the author put into this book. Just about everyone I know can relate to the subject matter (especially the part pertaining to sharing). I am always looking for books for my grandchildren and I couldn't have made a better selection. The large print is a plus and encourages an older sibling to read to their younger brother or sister.

Rating: Summary: I love labs Review: I just got "The Adventures of Sunny and the Chocolate Dog: Sunny Meets her Baby Sister" and my kids LOVE it! The story is so sweet and it has a great message for any older sibling who is anticipating the arrival of a new baby in the house. The illustrations are great too, I highly recommend the book.

Rating: Summary: The Adventures of Sunny & The Chocolate Dog: Sunny Meets Her Review: I thought the book was excellent. I can see how this book can be used to educate children on dogs or any animal in the house and also provide a lesson to the reader to pass to a child. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and will now read the others. I highly recommend it.
Rating: Summary: I love labs Review: I thought this book was really well written and my kids just loved it when I read it to them last night! They are usually kind of picky about the books that either I read to them or they read themselves. My three year old listened but my seven year old read it all by himself. My younger son really liked the pictures. They want to see more about Sunny and Cloudy.
Rating: Summary: A Story for the Whole Family Review: It's nice to have a book that spans a wide range of age groups. I have a three year old and an eight year old, and they are both in love with Sunny and the Chocolate Dog. They relate to the stories on different levels with my eldest a little more in tune with the emotional nuances, while my little one loves the pictures and the basic plot line. It is a rare treat to be able to read to both of my kids at once and have their complete attention.
Rating: Summary: adorable and educational Review: My 5 year old nephew is a dog fanatic, and that is the first reason why these books appealed to me. However, when we found out that he was soon going to be a big brother, the book became that much more special. We would read it to him cover to cover until he finally knew all of the words by heart. I truly believe that this story had a huge impact on how willingly and openly he accepted and loved his new baby sister when she was brought home from the hospital. Please, bring on more adventures soon!

Rating: Summary: A Story for the Whole Family Review: Sunny and the Chocolate Dog represent that rare combination: wisdom and laughter. This delightful book echos a poignant and common childhood experience: the advent of a new sibling. Sunny's experiences gently show kids that it's OK to be uncertain and a little worried...you just have to work through it. The two dogs go through this time of transition with realistic behaviors, humor, and lots and lots of love from their adoring "parents." The ultimate happy resolution is the natural outgrowth of their personalities and the strong loving values of their human family. I loved this book and when I gave it to a 7 year old friend, she read it immediately, ran to tell her parents all about it, then sat down and read it again.
