Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An eye-opening description of my relationship with Mom.
Review: I picked up this book because I loved the cover. What I found inside was a notion I had not wanted to face -- that I was still tied to my mother, letting her guide my life. And she's been dead for 20 years. So far, I have worked through the first half of the book and already I am beginning to feel something about myself that I haven't felt in many years -- that I have some value. I weep as I write this, but now I know that I need to bid farewell to my mother and remove her from steering my life. Thank you, Marilyn and Mary for writing this book.
