Summary: cute, but....
Review: A very warm and delightful book to give as a gift, to remind us of life's lessons we never outgrow. Our teachers come in many forms and sometimes new parents need to be gently reminded of this. Our children 'raise' us too! An excellent suggestion for any gift regardless of the occassion.

Summary: cute, but....
Review: this may be a cute book but for a dose of reality- the mom who wrote this book is actually pretty disconnected, appears to actually dislike children other than her own, and has very poor real life communication skills. I read it and took every single word with a grain of salt. Too bad. Babies and children have a lot to teach us, but these authors really didn't learn the lesson, but are pretty good at writing what they think others want to read. I guess they learned *that* lesson well, but not the lesson that children (their own and others) are capable of teaching them. Many other books are much more helpful.
