Review: This book is terrific! I found the concept of 3rd grade as a transitional year extremely helpful in understanding what my oldest child is currently dealing with at school. It's been a big change for her -- reading to learn rather than simply learning to read, as in grades 1 & 2. Lots of ideas for learning at home are included, and I found the math helpers to be particularly useful -- and fun!
